The Basic Orator Module is comprised of eight sessions, and is designed to be completed within two months. The goal of this program is to develop the non-verbal communication techniques of candidates by conducting activities which would make use of their body language, stage positioning, vocal variety, gestures, facial expressions, and posture. It is also aimed at developing the speech craft of candidates on persuasive, informative and special occasion’s speech genres. This level of training is germane across numerous communication spheres such as the development of interview skills, enhancement of PowerPoint presentations skills, improvement of pronunciation and enunciation, enrichment of skills in telling a story and making a point, and upgrading of the candidates’ use of humour.
The Intermediate Orator Module consists 12 sessions designed to be completed within three months. The program aims to target the advanced body language cues such as power poses, congruency, reading of context, and cultural paradigms. It likewise intends to develop the speech craft of candidates on inspirational and special occasion’s speech genres. Candidates will be trained to achieve an enhanced interview skill, oral examination skills and enhanced PowerPoint Presentations skills.
The Advanced Orator Module is comprised of 16 sessions designed to be completed within four months. This level of training is measured to teach the techniques in impromptu, humorous and evaluation speech speaking. Candidates will be trained on how to conduct a seminar, as well as to how to deal with opposition and Q&As. They will also be guided and trained in the field of competition preparatory work and in making research assignments.
The Master Orator Module consists 16 sessions designed to be completed within four months. Candidates will be taught about training guidelines, trainers’ ethics and management of a class. They will be imparted with effective communication theories and philosophy, as well as lessons on congruency, context and consistency. Candidates will be exposed on activities inclined to speech analysis, competition preparatory work, and research assignment and teaching practicum.
