IN3LABS is a learning centre in Singapore which aims to educate, prepare, and equip the youths with essential skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to become creator of technology, successful and inspiring future inventors and innovators at the forefront leading of the nation. In an effort to enhance their program, the institution partnered by engaging in consultation with the USA and Korea – countries which are ahead of the education curve and commenced to break new ground for IN3LABS.
IN3LABS offers a program to help even kids from very young ages to develop interest in critical thinking through robotics which is vital in developing various skills like using creativity to solve intricate problems. KIDS introductory is a 1.5 hours to 2 hours hands-on workshops for young kids aged 5 to 7 who are new and curious to join in a stimulating, fun, and engaging robotics learning. Every child who is excited to learn in a new way can join, for there is no prior knowledge required in joining the program.
In this short course, students will learn the basic design, construct and program their own robotic models while incorporating creativity and imagination in the classroom activities. This short introductory course is best followed with a certification course.
A maximum number of six students comprise each class as to ensure optimal student learning. The class is conducted once a week and seeks to emphasize on hands-on learning and progressive learning through structured curriculum. The KIDS introductory course includes training and use of computers, robot kits, curriculum and programming software during the training that is why parents won’t need to purchase any hardware or software for this course.
This program is beneficial in the children’s enhancement of their problem solving skills and of their strategic thinking; and of course the improvement of their concentration and attention, the development of their creative thinking skills, the development of their teamwork and communication skills and most of all the enhancement knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
IN3LABS encourages people especially the young ones to continuously explore, as they believe that there is never only one solution to a problem but rather scores of different solutions. They do not stop when students find an answer, they are being challenged to think laterally and explore all options. The learning center integrates technology into all different areas with its focus being on the children learning and giving them a head start in a largely technology driven world. Its adaptive structured curriculum and educational platforms offer personalized learning based on learner proficiency to suit each child’s unique speed and ability to learn. Workshops conducted by IN3LABS are designed to allow students to discover and develop one’s true potential.
